Cy Dark wild and whirling at the big album live launch on Saturday the 8th November at St Josephs hall Leigh 2008.
Cy’s bass guitar performance was absolutely breath taking, all night his astounding dynamic energy drove the band on through the set with his relentless, thundering , rolling bass lines, especially when Cy made an unscheduled b line for hall floor playing live amongst the extactic audience, it was absolutely stunning to watch and listen to quite amazing stuff Cy !!!!
Cy is an absolute powerhouse of energy bringing tremendous intellect and focus to the bands unrelenting low amplitude driving bass sounds, as well as high defintion backing vocals.
Cy’s live performances undoubtly provides the frantic dark back drop to the merciless Elias.T.Hoth Southern States biting gutteral edge.
Standing still is certainly not one of Cy’s fortes, wealding his heavy thunderous 5 string bass guitar round the stage, Cy delivers an unrelentng depth to such tracks as “Mississippi Burnin’ “, “Hex on You”, “Sleazy Hussy Fever”, and “Wanted by the FBI” to name just a few .
These are just a few of his magnificent contributions to the bands blistering “Let Sleepin’ Demons Lie” album . Cy’s relentless energy embodies the bands momentum, he is a massive, integral cornerstone in Elias.T.Hoth’s blood spittin’, no nonsence, and as his name says dark and and brooding live delivery!
